The two-day Freiberg Collagen Symposium has been held every four years since 1996 and offers lectures on a wide range of collagen-related topics, such as the extraction and processing of collagen, analytics, synthetic collagen and collagen peptides, simulation and modeling, medical and pharmaceutical applications and much more. The symposium is an established meeting place for scientists, manufacturers and users from all over the world who deal with collagen.

Our Venue "DBI Conference Center"

This year's Freiberg Collagen Symposium will take place on the grounds of the former German Fuel Institute (DBI), located on the outskirts of Freiberg. FILK itself maintaince a Thermoplastics Technology in this area. A spacious conference center has also been built here, providing an ideal setting for hosting this year's symposium.

Registration and Cancellation Information

Registration
We are looking forward to your registration until September 15, 2026. After receipt of your registration you will receive an invoice for the registration fee as confirmation. The invoice amount is due without deductions after receipt of the invoice. For registrations after 15 September 2026 we charge 50 euros extra.

Cancellation
In the case of cancellations received up to 14 days prior to the start of the event, the participation fee will be refunded minus a processing fee of 10% of the total price, but at least 50.00 euros. For all later cancellations no refund is possible.
